One of the most important things to Pure is our team, supporting and developing them and ensuring they play a significant role in the shaping of our business. We are also hugely passionate about growing the team and bringing in new talent that benefits our customers, our colleagues and assists with our company growth plans.
In early May, we were absolutely delighted to welcome Alan Potts into the team as Senior Field Technician. Alan will be managing the fluid care programme at some of our key metal working customers whilst supporting the Pure metal working team both technically and commercially as they continue to focus on and grow this part of our business with the Quaker Houghton brand.
Alan comes with a wealth of experience having worked directly for Quaker Houghton for a number of years. His knowledge and expertise are a valuable addition to the Pure team and enhances our metal working support offer to customers old and new.
Pure Managing Director Simon Campbell said: “We’re delighted to have Alan on board. He’s slotted straight into the team and already we’re seeing the value he brings to Pure and our customers. Alan’s a great guy, really likeable and a real team player, just what we look for at Pure.”

- What do you like most about your job? – Different place everyday
- What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional? – Can’t say I have one
- If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why? – Rewind – To change a lot of my past!
- What’s a trip that changed you, and why? – Camping off Ardnamuchan Point. Made me live more in the moment
- What’s the best advice you were ever given? Who was it from? – I wish I’d have listened to some!!
- What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received? – Not sure I’ve had one!!
- What’s one song or artist that you’re embarrassed to admit you like? – Gold- Spandau Ballet!!
- If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick? – Maps, My Bank, Netflix
